Ladies Firearms Fundamentals
Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals is a comprehensive course for anyone considering owning or carrying a firearm for self-defense. The course is a complete guide to understanding conflict avoidance and situational awareness; home security and home defense; handguns; shooting fundamentals; the physiology of violent encounters; the legal aspects of using deadly force (including knowing what to do in the aftermath); and a complete guide on gear, gadgets, and ongoing training.
In this session, we look at how to safely and efficiently reload your firearm and stay "in the fight". Whether in a static position or in dynamic movement, keeping your gun running is critical.
In this session, we deal with Failure-to-fire situations. Nearly all malfunctions can be overcome. This training will help you master the art of clearing malfunctions and surviving the fight.
Kid's Firearm Saftey Course
This two hour course is designed for grades 2nd - 12th & will teach children the fundamentals of firearm safety including in-home safety, function of firearms, what to do if they find a firearm, how to notify 911 and what information they will need to provide in case of an emergency, and more. Simulation time will be provided at the end of class for participants. Certificate of Completion presented upon completion of course.
Texas LTC Course
The License to Carry Certification Course is outlined by the Texas Department of Public Safety and will cover the 4-6 hour minimum in-class requirement, plus shooting range qualification, necessary to file your License to Carry application with the Texas Department of Public Safety.
· Use of Force & Deadly Force
· Non-Violent Dispute Resolution
· Gun Safety & Safe Storage of Firearms including use of restraint holsters and methods to ensure the secure carrying of openly carried handguns.
· Proper storage practices for handguns with an emphasis of storage practices that eliminate the possibility of accidental injury to a child.
· Licensing Requirements
· Passing a 25 question test.
Applicants are required by the state of Texas to qualify at a live fire range. For this you will need to bring your personal firearm, 50 rounds of quality ammunition, and ear and eye protection.
